A one of a kind engagement ring: Jacx wanted a showstopper – something bold, feminine and guaranteed to turn heads. She chose KATA Jewellery to turn those dreams into a reality.

With a love for all things pink, she envisioned a ring centered around a vivid, hot pink Sapphire. We sourced a stunning 3.55″ natural gemstone from Madagascar and paired it with 3.46ct of diamonds, crafting the design in Platinum for maximum brilliance and contrast.

The result was a dramatic claw – set starburst cluster ring. To create depth and texture, we combined brilliant round-cut diamonds and elegant baguette diamonds. The setting formed a soft ballerina-skirt silhouette, with diamonds rising and dipping subtly to catch the light from every angle. The gentle wavelike setting added movement and sparkle, offering a fresh twist on the traditional cluster.
