Awakening evokes a volcanic, charred landscape where new life begins to emerge — delicate glimmers of gold and silver rising from quiet, ash-like textures.

Kent artist, Pari Aazami uses pigment print on archival FineArt paper. She then hand-gilds with 23ct gold leaf, tin leaf, and silver metal leaf, to create a surface that glows softly as light moves across it.

The restrained palette of pale greys, soft whites, and subtle metallic highlights lends the piece an understated elegance, where shimmer appears only when the light catches it.

Designed to be displayed in four different orientations. Awakening invites different interpretations — from resilience and rebirth to calm, meditative landscapes.
